Patricia Maraia

Mission

As a member of the SMH board, Patricia’s #1 priority will be to ensure that all patients receive the highest standard of care. Over the past two-and-a-half years, the patients of our community have not been served to this level.

Confidence has been lost and hearts have been broken. The families of our community deserve more. Due to protocols, politics, and fear, families were left without answers and patients were left to navigate the medical system alone. This is not the highest standard of care. Patricia will give our community a voice that is heard and respected to ensure that Sarasota Memorial Hospital is once again a trusted place.
